Jamie’s Farm, Lewes

Welcome to the farm

Our fourth rural site, Allington Farm, opened in 2019. Nestled at the foot of the South Downs National Park, it offers stunning, far-reaching views. The farm includes 210 acres of grass and woodland, creating a varied environment for both our animals and young people to enjoy.

This is the first of our farms to operate on a lease model and has allowed us to bring Jamie’s Farm to the South East. The site comprises of a traditional Sussex farmhouse with a homely and colourful interior, sitting next to our pond housing ducks and a local heron. Livestock includes our herd of Aberdeen Angus cattle, Lleyn and Suffolk ewes, chickens, Large White pigs and our naughty goats. We also enjoy the company of our two horses called Toffee and Squidge.

Talk to us about booking a visit to a farm

Our farms are open all year around, both during school term time and in the holidays.

We welcome groups from any organisations which work with young people who may benefit from a visit to Jamie’s Farm. This includes mainstream schools, alternative provisions, special schools, local authority groups, virtual schools and charities.

Please get in touch with our Partnerships Manager Phoebe Ruxton to find out more, or download our school information pack.

Stay at the farm on weekends

When we do not have groups visiting, our farmhouses and spaces are available to rent! By choosing to stay here for your family holiday or weekend away, not only would you be able to enjoy the calm of our beautiful environment but you will also have the satisfaction of knowing that your money will be going towards a wonderful cause.
