Work Experience

We are occasionally able to offer work experience placements if you have participated in a Jamie’s Farm Programme (at either our residential Farms or at Oasis Farm Waterloo), are under 18, and would find the experience useful to your future career. For some this might be shadowing our Farm Manager; for others helping with groups of younger children; for others being based within our administrative team learning about the communications, fundraising or financial side of the charity. We find young people coming for work experience also provide a fantastic support to new groups of young people coming through our programme.

Please be aware the weeks in which we can offer work experience are quite limited due to the nature of the groups we work with, and we regret we are not always able to offer you the experience even if we felt you were really suitable.

If you would like to apply to do work experience with us, please complete the following form. You will need a teacher or member of staff to support your application and their email address for us to contact too. We shall get back to you as soon as possible.

If you are over 18, you will need to apply to be a volunteer here.
