Luke has always loved food, both cooking it and eating it. While living in London he had various roles related to food, from setting up a veg box scheme, to working in cheese shops and brewing beer. He eventually became a chef after moving to Bristol.
After many years working in professional kitchens he completed a Masters in Sustainable Food and Natural resources and completed a community-based horticulture placement with the Avon Wildlife Trust. It was here that he began to gain experience working with young people in cooking and horticulture settings. Luke is thrilled to be part of the Jamie’s Farm team in Monmouth and loves sharing his joy of cooking and eating with the young visitors to the farm.
