Lucy Kane

After attending a secondary school with an integrated farm within it, Lucy studied French at Manchester university and started life working with young people in France. She then worked in the commercial sector in London before embarking on a charity marketing  career.  She has worked for small and large charities including Breast Cancer Now and Cancer Research UK in corporate fundraising, but when she came to Bristol she became interested in food and farming and worked in MarComs at a community cookery school and at the Soil Association. She has also studied counselling and she loves getting outside with her partner, children and dog.  She loves wild swimming, football and sewing. She is passionate about young people having access to therapeutic services and loves that Jamie’s Farm offers them that, plus the opportunity to find out who they are.
