Liz Clayton

Therapeutic Coordinator
Jamie's Farm Bath – Shockerwick

Liz’s favourite parts of working at Jamie’s Farm is getting to know the young people who visit the farm each week. She loves spending time alongside them, hearing their stories and seeing things from a different perspective. Liz feels that young people often help her to look at the world in new ways.

You’ll usually find Liz getting stuck into whatever is happening on the farm, whether that’s cooking breakfast, heading out on a dog walk, chopping logs, working with Octavia and the horses, or getting creative with arts and crafts. Liz is a great listener and enjoys creating opportunities for young people to slow down, be themselves, and try something new.

Liz hopes that time at Jamie’s Farm gives young people a chance to take a break from the pressures of everyday life, enjoy the countryside, experience life on a working farm and discover strengths and qualities they might not have realised they had.

Growing up with a family farm, Liz spent many happy days helping her grandfather during lambing season and has always loved being around animals. Outside of work, Liz loves being outdoors, especially by the coast in Cornwall or Gower. She loves making art, running, going to the gym and spending time with her cat, Dotty.
