With a background in housing, education and horticulture, Jo was drawn to Jamie’s Farm by her love of working alongside young people, her passion for gardening, and by her conviction that positive relationships and purposeful pursuits can form the basis of a sense of belonging and hope for the future.
Jo has brought tonnes of enthusiasm and a clear creative vision to developing the new London site. She’s thrilled to be welcoming school groups to Jamie’s Farm Brixton where her natural inclination to listen to, encourage and praise the children she works with can be given full rein. Jo is driven by a desire to understand the lives of young people in London and to play a part in helping them to recognise their strengths and potential.
Off duty, Jo runs a busy family, reads, cooks, gardens, swims and sleeps.
