Ellie joined the team as a Partnerships Coordinator, having taught Geography in secondary schools for 8 years, and before that had a career in beer sales! She feels very at home talking about belonging, purpose and reflection having taught in schools that have closely aligned values. She feels passionately about how these values, coupled with time spent outdoors and with animals, can have a transformational impact for young people. It is a real joy for her to work with schools to bring our programmes to life and in turn support young people to access the farm experience.
When she’s not on the farm, she enjoys long walks with her spaniel, Luna (who is too naughty for the farm!) and getting in the sea. She is also a big food lover and can’t think of a better day than a walk, swim and cake or pub lunch!
