Adam Young

Programme and Garden Coordinator
Jamie's Farm Lewes

Adam loves being outdoors, getting muddy hands and helping young people discover the value of spending time in nature. He can usually be found in the garden, working alongside young people to grow fruit, vegetables and flowers, and helping them make the connection between what grows in the ground and the food that ends up on the farm kitchen table.

Having worked with young people throughout his career, often in outdoor adventurous settings, Adam loves seeing the confidence, curiosity and sense of achievement that can come from trying something new outside. Whether it’s sowing seeds, harvesting produce, tackling a muddy job or simply taking a quiet moment in the garden, he enjoys helping young people find their own way to connect with nature and get creative.

Away from the garden, Adam is always up for an adventure and loves games of almost any kind.
