Octavia started at Jamie’s Farm as volunteer in 2021, before becoming a member of “bank” staff and gaining experience of delivery across all the farms. She became interested in the lasting impact of a week on the farm after seeing the transformation a young person can go through during the week. This led her to begin the Enhanced Legacy Initiative which aims to link visiting young people up with further opportunities back in their communities.
When not focussing on legacy, she can be found on the farm doing pretty much anything from making a curry to herding sheep or walking her small dog, Mud. This year she will be adding another string to her bow, by covering Alice’s maternity leave as a Visit Coordinator. She is really looking forward to taking on this challenge and working more closely with our visiting partners.
