On a small strip of land between Waterloo Station and St Thomas’ Hospital you can find our London site – Oasis Farm Waterloo. Over the last few years we’ve transformed a former wasteland into a thriving and productive half an acre, with the help of young people who have visited our countryside farms and others from the local community.
Working alongside the charity Oasis, the farm features a sow and piglets from our Bath farm, lambs, chickens and guinea pigs. Retired potato crates grow kilos of fruit and veg from aubergines to tayberries, and an aquaponics system uses tilapia fish to grow salad leaves and educate visitors. We have an enormous timber framed barn, available to hire for events, and a serene walled garden for more reflective discussions.
Oasis Farm Waterloo is currently open to the public on Saturdays: oasisfarmwaterloo.org
