Change a life, like Kotryna’s
This Christmas, Kotryna is sharing her story to show how your generosity can help transform the lives of young people facing real challenges. Before Jamie’s Farm, Kotryna was struggling with poor attendance and low confidence, and her behaviour was heading downhill. She felt disconnected from school and couldn’t see herself finishing her education.
At Jamie’s Farm, away from the pressures of the classroom, Kotryna began to uncover her self-confidence. Through the shared experience of living and working on the farm, she connected with her PE teacher, who accompanied her on the visit. They built a trusting relationship and back in school, that teacher became her mentor. She helped Kotryna stay engaged, feel supported, and believe in her future for the first time.
Today, Kotryna is thriving — she’s started university and is embracing new opportunities with confidence.
