£107,116 raised in the Big Give Christmas Challenge
The end of November saw Jamie’s Farm seven day fundraising appeal – The Big Give Christmas Challenge – come to life. The appeal aims to raise an ambition £50,000, which is then doubled to £100,000 of crucial funding. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, both new and returning, a fantastic £107,116 was raised.
Jamie’s Farm have taken part in the annual Big Give matched-funding appeal since 2016. In total, over one million pounds has been raised. This year, the funding has gone towards the set-up of our sixth rural site, Lower Shockerwick Farm, which is due to start welcoming children from autumn 2024. You can read more about our exciting expansion here. You can watch our appeal video below, celebrating the additional 450 children we will be able to support each year.
A huge thank you to everyone who gave so generously and shared our appeal, including The Reed Foundation and the individuals that provided the matched funding. Keep an eye on our social media, or sign up to our newsletter, to find out when the next matched-giving appeal will run in 2024.
