Working at Jamie’s Farm

Whether you are part of our delivery team directly working with young people, or a member of HQ working behind the scenes, a day at Jamie’s Farm is never the same as the next. Whatever your role, you will be helping disadvantaged young people to thrive at school and beyond.

Our values guide everything we do at Jamie’s Farm. We seek to ensure that even as the charity grows, we are able to maintain the unique culture that we have established across our farms – a culture that is based on an optimistic can-do spirit, and which supports and challenges us to be the best of ourselves.

Training and Development

Jamie’s Farm is committed to providing Continued Professional Development for all its staff, with internal and external training. We run interim and annual reviews to support with personal and professional growth, as well as regular management check-ins. We regularly get all our farm teams together to feed into the future of the charity, the highlight being our our Annual Away Days in the Brecon Beacons.

We celebrate diversity and make inclusion part of what we do every day. Our aim is for every staff and volunteer to bring their true self to work and are individually supported to ensure that the positive organisational culture we desire, is sustained.

Environment and Well-being

Our farms are all surrounded by stunning countryside. Whether you work in the office or with our delivery teams, you can reap the benefits of this beautiful, homely environment. The nature of the work is challenging and so we ensure dedicated time is provided weekly for teams to debrief and reflect together, as well as quarterly external supervision.
