Mark Carnie

Mark grew up on his family sheep farm set in the beautiful countryside of Bath, just 10 minutes down the road from Jamie’s Farm Bath. He grew up working with 1,500 breeding ewes and 15 Aberdeen Angus sucklers. Mark went onto working on Neston estate which boarders his family farm, where they ran 1,650 acres of organic arable and milking 160 organic jersey cows twice a day. Mark has always had a passion for working alongside people and found an opportunity to start up the second Jamie’s Farm at Hereford in 2014, which alongside his young family transformed the once stale farm into a thriving, sustainable and profitable farm, whilst working alongside and including hundreds of children and young people who visited. Mark has now taken on the challenge of setting up the new farm in Skipton and is looking forward to creating an oasis for wildlife and young people to enjoy.
