Since joining Jamie’s Farm, Octavia has developed a passion for all things farming, gardening, cooking and the many opportunities farm life offers young people. Drawing on her previous experience in the horse racing world, she leads therapeutic horse sessions that help young people connect with themselves, others and the natural world.
Octavia loves sharing the calm, grounding presence of the horses and seeing the confidence and self-belief that can grow through the time spent with them. She enjoys the practical and rewarding nature of farm life, from daily jobs around the farm to quieter moments with the animals and in nature.
She is often by her little dog, Mud, who can usually be found patrolling the farm in search of mice and making friends wherever she goes!
